Darryl was hosting the safety-training program for the staff of the warehouse, but Michael thought it would be fun to include his office staff in the presentation. Darryl became angry when Michael was second-guessing everything that was being said and basically would not shut up.

Instead, they decided to have Michael pretend to kill himself by jumping off the roof, but in reality, he was going to be jumping onto a giant trampoline in the parking lot.
