As Jim went over expense reports with Oscar, he noticed score cards for Oscar and Kevin's games of paperclip football that they play when Michael is out of the office or when they're bored. Jim asked if they had other games and Oscar suggested that Jim ask Toby about "Dunderball."
Bill, the head of the condo association, had a blank stare on his face when Michael did his "Mr. Bill" impersonation for his amusement. Then it was time to sign papers, but Dwight stepped in to ask some questions about the neighborhood. Bill and the realtor said that it was a very "gay-friendly neighborhood," assuming that Dwight and Michael were a couple.
Jim kicked off the first ever Dunder-Mifflin Olympic Games by lighting a scented candle he found in the men's bathroom and announcing that they'd be competing for gold, bronze, and silver yogurt cup lids.
Dwight asked Michael what kind of mortgage he got and Michael replied, "ten years." The realtor stepped in to remind Michael that it was "10 over 30," meaning a 30-year mortgage. This put Michael in a state of shock since he'd be paying it off until he's in his 70s, as Dwight pointed out. When the realtor reminded Michael that he'd lose $7,000 if he walked out of the deal, he signed on the dotted line.
While Dwight and Michael enjoyed takeout in Michael's new home, the Dunder-Mifflin gang was knee-deep in "flunkerton," a game otherwise known as paper-box snowshoes. Pam asked Angela if she had a game to play, and Angela said that she plays "Pam Phone" counting how many times Jim gets up to talk to Pam during the day.
To reward Dwight for helping him out, Michael told Dwight that he'd lock him in to renting the extra bedroom for four years. Dwight got out of this by pestering Michael about insurance and other matters until Michael revoked the offer. The two of them returned to the office to find the office Olympics still going strong, but Michael was too dazed about his purchase to care.
To cheer Michael up, Jim gave him a gold medal during the Olympic closing ceremonies. Dwight got the silver medal for helping Michael, and Jim got the bronze. Then it was time for the national anthem and paper doves "flying" up on a makeshift pulley system to close out the games.
